I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place yet! This is my favorite asian restaurant here in Louisville and I consider this place as my go-to whenever I'm craving for some comfort food. Some of my favorites from the menu are Pho, Com Thit Nuong and Vermicelli Noodle Bowl. Very affordable and large serving!
Also, the grandpa who works here is very sweet! -

This place was not good. My husband and I ate here and were in a slight rush (enough to eat at a sit down place if it took the normal time). Our food took forever to come and we both ordered the seasame chicken.
The chicken was burnt and black. Looking back we absolutely should have sent it back and left but we were running out of time and starving and for some reason ended up paying for extremely burnt food. It was our first time coming and we have not been back.
Very disappointing. -

Looking for a place for pho, and decided to try la que. got the beef pho and it came out quickly and the broth was warm, but no seasoning at all.
Also, no options other than flank steak as the beef portion.
Saw pictures of the bun rieu, probably should have tried that.
Service was fine, but I don't think that I'm going back for the pho -

I was craving noodles one night, so I swung by La Que for takeout. I ordered Pad Thai and some summer rolls to go. That order came in under $13, which was a good price. I sat in two different chairs and both nearly fell over because they were so unsteady and worn down. (I stood while I waited for my food.) They gave me an estimate of 20 minutes and it came out faster than that. The summer rolls were good, but the pad Thai was very bland. I'd go back, but I wouldn't order the Pad Thai again.

I've ordered here twice, once my boyfriend didn't realize they put peanuts in EVERY dish and just ordered (our fault). The second time I made sure to put no peanuts on my order because I am allergic but this is one of the only Thai places that deliver. Thank goodness I checked before I took a bite because it was filled with peanuts. I called to make sure they a.) look at the notes section in the future for other people who order and b.) say hey You messed up on my order. They never even offered to replace it or anything. Just really disappointing and dangerous.
